Experience the Park

The park offers free access to visitors on foot and is a perfect place for walking especially during the cooler months between October and April. Sunset walks are a good alternative for the hotter period between May and September. Our Park Map (click here) shows the entrances and routes that can be chosen.

The standard route followed during guided walks is the Green Route.

You can choose one of five starting points for a walk in the Park:

GoldenBay parking area
Old Barracks area
Manikata playing field
Xaghra l-Hamra
Northernmost entrance at Anchor Bay

Note: Please keep away from the cliff edge. Participants in park activities do so at their own risk.

The park is served by public transport - Bus 44 from Valletta will stop you at the bus stop entitled TUFFIEHA at the southern end of the Park near to Golden Bay (Bus Route 44 Timetable).
